Equipped with the most robust and high quality components and this in conjunction with the most modern firmware help the EZRUN MAX5 to provide unsurpassed performance, even during hardcore racing. Great flexibility & versatility
With incredible acceleration and a rock-solid & stable output, the models can make a variety of moves with no problems. Regardless of whether an aggressive start with wheelie, a killer jump or a high-speed test, the controller masters all of this with ease. In addition, the controller can be programmed with a wide variety of parameters in order to obtain excellent control of the model and to react as sensitively as possible in the throttle / brake curve.
Suitable for all weather conditions
Excellent protection against water and dust make this controller a weapon in any weather or under any condition. Regardless of whether it's extremely dusty slopes, wet roads, snow, puddles or gravel, the MAX5 goes on and on.
Advanced and safe electronic switch
This electronic switch has a lifespan of more than 50,000 switching operations and is also completely waterproof and dustproof and also has an impact-resistant design. Problems like rusty contact points or moisture in the switch are a thing of the past. It also cannot switch itself off after hard landings or accidents like a conventional mechanical switch.
Super built-in BEC
The world's first regulator with built-in super high current BEC which has a max. Can provide output power up to 25A. In addition, the output voltage is adjustable between 6V & 7.4V. The high-current BEC was developed to supply the current high-current servos with sufficient power on request and thus to be able to precisely control large models.
Plug and play
Equipped with 6.5mm gold contact sockets as standard, the plug of most brushless motors can be plugged into the controller. The widespread Traxxas connector is already soldered on the battery side, so in most cases there is no annoying soldering and the controller can be put into operation immediately.
Regular firmware update included
You can easily update the MAX5 with the Hobbywing USB Link software, the multifunction LCD program box and a laptop or PC. Hobbywing regularly releases new firmware which includes great new features.
Integrated anti-spark system
The MAX5 is equipped with an internal anti-spark circuit, which not only protects the battery but also the fingers when connecting the LiPo. Especially when connecting LiPos with a very high voltage like (5S / 6S / 7S / 8S) sparking can occur which is avoided by this system.
Large area of application
This controller can be ideally used in any 1/5 model, whether buggy, monster truck, short course or truggy. For example in the HPI Baja, Losi 5T, Losi DBXL or MCD Race Runner which were converted to brushless with a conversion kit. It is the ideal choice for high-end models that are heavily used or operated aggressively.
Almost maintenance-free
The entire controller, with the exception of the fan, is basically maintenance-free. You only have to remove the fan cover to replace the fan if necessary. It is therefore not necessary to open the housing or the like and the whole process can be carried out quickly and smoothly. In addition, the fan has been designed to be shockproof to withstand regular high jumps and hard landings without damage.
