This is a special edition of the Scania R470 R / C truck (original: item 56318), the elegant 4 × 2 model that depicts a vehicle belonging to the award-winning Scania International R Series winner of Truck of the Year in 2005.
It's a great option for those who don't have the time or the dexterity to apply a paint to their kit, as the cabin parts are prepainted in TS-17 polished aluminum and feature a urethane coating for a beautiful, long-lasting finish.
Characteristics:
• 1/14 scale R / C model assembly kit. Length: 452mm, width: 187mm, height: 293mm.
• All body parts are printed in gray and prepainted in polished aluminum (TS-17), with a urethane top coat for a stunning finish.
• The interiors with seat and dashboard are reproduced.
• The 2-axle chassis uses metal side members with transverse reinforced ABS reinforced. The realistic transmission has a front engine that powers the rear axle.
• The 3-speed transmission can be controlled via the 4-channel R / C transmitter.
• Highly realistic suspension uses metal leaf springs.
• Fifth wheel is included to allow connection to any 1/14 scale Tamiya trailer currently available.
• Compatible with a range of optional Truck parts. Use with the MFC-03 multifunction control unit (item 56523) (or MFC-01, item 56511) for realistic lights and sounds.
• for operation, the following are required:
- 4-channel radio control.
- MFC unit or electronic regulator *.
- 7.2V battery and relative charger.
- 2 servos.

* Realistic lights, sounds and vibrations can be added thanks to the multifunction kits, sold separately (MFC-01 US sound code 56511 or MFC-03 European sound code 56523) to offer realistic driving with engine sound, horn, gear shift and many more sounds. Headlights, brake lights and turn signals are also available thanks to these MFC units.
There are currently 5 types of trailers (refrigerated trailer, container trailer, tank trailer, flatbed trailer and tube trailer) to choose from. Attach any one to the Scania R470 to create an exciting truck and trailer combination.
